Procedure - Indirect Labeling

Tissue sections are incubated at room temperature in specific antisera diluted 1/20 in 0.01 M Tris pH 8 and 5 mg/ml BSA (Tris/BSA) for 1 hour at room temperature.  The sections are then washed in PBS and then incubated in fluorescent labeled secondary antisera diluted 1/30 in Tris/BSA for 1 hour at room temperature.  The sections are washed in PBS and mounted in a non-fluorescing mounting media.
